What is Tinglish? It\u2019s a conjunction between the words Thai and English which is commonly used to describe the way a Thai person speaks. Tinglish is just another word for broken English, generally speaking unless the Thai is from a wealthy background they will be speaking too you in Tinglish. If they are from a wealthy background( Bonjour \u00e0 tous<\/a>), il y a de fortes chances qu'ils ne vous parlent pas du tout.<\/p>\n

Pourquoi les Tha\u00eflandais parlent-ils le Tinglish ?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Is it because they are stupid? Well I don\u2019t want to offend a whole country by answering that question so I won\u2019t. One reason for why their English is \u201cnot so good\u201d is due to the fact of de terribles professeurs d'anglais<\/a> qui travaillent dans les \u00e9coles tha\u00eflandaises. Je pourrais devenir professeur dans certaines \u00e9coles parce que j'ai un dipl\u00f4me, m\u00eame si ma grammaire anglaise est horrible et mon blog plein de fautes d'orthographe.<\/p>\n

Some of the farang school teachers are underpaid, not given the correct materials to teach properly, some teachers should not even be teaching children they are that stupid. That\u2019s not to say that there are not good farang school teachers in Thailand, because there are, sadly they seem to be few and far between.<\/p>\n

La meilleure fa\u00e7on de communiquer avec un Tha\u00eflandais ?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Well this is obvious one isn’t it, speak Thai! But aint nobody got time for dat, aint nobody! I get complimented often by Thais and my friends for being able to talk and understand Tinglish very well. This is by far the most successful method I have had trying to create dialog a good dialogue with Thais.<\/p>\n

  • Parler lentement<\/li>\n
  • Don\u2019t use words with more than two syllables<\/li>\n
  • Don\u2019t use confusing words<\/li>\n
  • Utiliser le moins de mots possible dans chaque phrase<\/li>\n
  • Don\u2019t give Thais any credit for being understand any adjectives<\/li>\n
  • Don\u2019t confuse them with any unnecessary details<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
