{"id":6995,"date":"2016-02-28T08:14:20","date_gmt":"2016-02-28T08:14:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afarangabroad.com\/?p=6995"},"modified":"2018-12-15T12:15:42","modified_gmt":"2018-12-15T12:15:42","slug":"thai-tourist-visa-in-ho-chi-minh-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afarangabroad.com\/fr\/2016\/02\/thai-tourist-visa-in-ho-chi-minh-city\/","title":{"rendered":"Obtenir un visa touristique tha\u00eflandais \u00e0 Ho Chi Minh Ville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently got a single entry Thai tourist visa from <a href=\"https:\/\/afarangabroad.com\/fr\/ho-chi-minh-nightlife-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ho Chi Minh City<\/a>, and if you&#8217;re planning a visa trip soon but aren&#8217;t sure where the best place is to get one, here&#8217;s how to get a single entry Thai visa in HCM like a boss.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Paperwork you need<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To get a single entry Thai tourist visa in Ho Chi Minh City, you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid passport (6 months or more left)<\/li>\n<li>Inbound and outbound ticket from Thailand<\/li>\n<li>Application form filled out (you can ask for one there)<\/li>\n<li>1 passport photo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may also need to show at least 20,000b which is stated on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thaiembassy.org\/hochiminh\/en\/services\/33685-Tourist-Visa.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">official embassy website<\/a>, although I wasn&#8217;t asked. You can use a bus or train ticket for your proof of entry and exit out of Thailand.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Questions they asked me at the Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh City<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>They asked me nothing.<\/p>\n<p>When I applied for my single entry Thai tourist visa, I had already come off a triple-entry Thai visa and was expecting some sort of questioning.<\/p>\n<p>But questions&#8230;not even once.<\/p>\n<p>The Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh City opens at 8:30am until 11:30am in the morning and this is when you can apply for a single entry Thai visa. I went on a Monday and there were a few people in line already.<\/p>\n<p>I reckon I spent a total of 25 minutes there which included filling out my form.<\/p>\n<p>To get a single entry Thai tourist visa will cost you $40, they <strong>do not accept VND<\/strong>.
