My experience with Thai Friendly has been mixed. The general rule is if a woman shows any cleavage she is fairly to very loose. If a woman comes to your apartment on the first or second date she is also loose. A “good” Thai woman won’t put out for at least a few months of serious dating. I have a Australian born Chinese friend says he got the same thing as you. He said he moved to Thai Cupid and found much better results there.

Yeah, I figured the ladies will be more interested upon arrival. They always ask when am I coming to Thailand and to contact them ASAP upon arrival. You can go with both, I’d go ahead and write something like “I’m just here for a few weeks, looking for cool and fun girls” the message that you’re here for a few weeks should tell them you’re not looking for girls. Writing no strings attached could scare a few of them away thinking you’re a playboy.
Both are fine to use, I always suggest getting a month on both and then canceling the one you don’t like. Thai Friendly only boosts your account when you’re a premium member so your numbers will increase when you upgrade that’s for sure.

I met a girl at Thaifriendly and she says she lives 6 hrs away from Bangkok. I will be traveling to phuket and I asked he if she can come. She said she can come if you pay for the tickets etc. She wanted me to transfer money to her account. I said no and said I can reimburse if she comes. She said she will but you have to buy me air tickets etc. I agreed.
Now I’m just worried if she is an scam or she has lime who will harras me later with fake pregnancy, medical issues etcetera.

I never advise sending money to a Thai girl’s account, I would get her to buy the ticket and then you pay her back when she comes, or I would buy the ticket myself from Air Asia and then email it to her. A one-way ticket is going to be around 1,000b.
Less chance of being scammed than sending her money to her account.

Thailand has a bad rep for scams with girls, very few (never heard of it in 5 years of living in Thailand) will steal all your possessions from a hotel if you met them from online. Without knowing more to your story my guess is she will be right as rain, she might go past a market and be like “oh that is very nice” and hope you buy it, but can you blame her? It’s 300b and you’ve paid for her to come and visit.
If she starts asking for 5,000b watches or bags, then you just laugh it off and say “I not that rich na”. 😀
It’s not too good to be true, it’s just good! My friend often flys girls from Udon for the weekend, costs him little under 1,500b and he reckons he saves because two nights out in Bangkok can easily set you back 8,000b+ if you’re not careful lol.
Now does she have a game to play? I would say all this fuss about having the white skin only to gain significant advantage on these dating websites is largely misleading. While I agree that being a westerner would work more in favor of you (especially if you are dealing with a hooker kind}, however in the end it comes down to you as a person. I am a Indian guy with brown skin and I say as a guarantee that when it comes to dating normal Thai girls who aren’t hookers or have any bar connections, your color of skin does not matters. Okay let’s hold up here, I’m sure not sure why you want a long-term relationship at 19, sounds like a bad idea, would re-think that.
You can bring a girl back with you after just a few weeks, but the girl who does that is not a girl you want a long-term relationship with. Like anything it takes time, and it seems you don’t have enough of it, or given your budget you can’t buy more of it. So my advice would be this, for you, don’t get a long-term girlfriend and bring her back to the US, you’re only 19 and don’t have enough money.

Most work 6 days per week and have 1 day off. You’re best to meet them after work somewhere close to their work or apartment, or on their day off.
Just because a girl lives near Sukhumvit does not mean she is a bargirl, there are very cheap condos in Soi 22 that many stay in. Others will look deep in the sois and share a room between 3-4 of them. Don’t get me wrong there will be working girls on there for sure, but it’s usually less than 5%.
If you don’t want to see a girl again just stop repsonding to them, block them or tell them you have a girlfriend now.

I hate to disagree. I have never paid more than 1500 baht, ever. Not in bkk, Pattaya or Huahin. It’s the rip off joint encouraging paying loads. There are always less famous high Street bars and massage parlours offering good prices with lower bar fines or non if you just meet up before or after work. The exclusive ones will be worn out starfishes with clown pockets.
You’re getting much quality in terms of looks for 1,500b or less though. So it depends on what the person is after or how much they are willing to negotiate.

You’re overthinking the age and any to any, they are most likely not bothering to fill in the profile. If there’s no info just message them, and the ones with weak replies don’t message and reply to girls with the stronger replies. Some girls have limited English speaking, and are better at talking than writing so keep that in mind.

Hey Bron, yes that is normal. Keep in mind that these girls save about 200b ($6) per day and sometimes they save nothing as they need to send money to their family. So coming to Bangkok for 4-5 days is nothing something they can do because they have no money to do so. She just wants to make it clear to you that she has no money and if she comes to see you, you need to take care of her.

I have very good experience with TF. Apart from the freelancers who are a pain the average Thai girl is very polite warm and friendly. They have a lot less taboos than Western women and are extremely hygienic. They proper look after themselves and their guy. The two things that bother me a little .

I have one last question… I have very thin head hair, so I always shave them to 2mm all over. Does Thai Girls like such short hair respectively bald heads? What is your experience or experience of your friends?

Girls in general do not like bald guys, so that’s something you need to accept and there’s not much you can do there.

I’m wondering, you know this how? I’m guessing you have a full head of hair, so, how do you know? It’s not like you have a lot of experience with this.
I shave my head and I have no trouble getting women in the USA and definitely no trouble getting women in Thailand. I have had several Thai women say they love “skinhead” men and they weren’t bar girls.
So, my advice to Denny is that he should shave his head slick and there will be more beautiful Thai women than he can handle that are interested in him.
As for the girls that don’t like bald guys, I say fuck’em. Harvie, I’m sure you feel the same way about the girls that don’t like black guys.

Some girls don’t like guys with no hair, and if you’re bald that means you cannot grow hair, and also implies you’re older. So naturally less girls are going to be interested. If you’re clean shaven by choice that’s another story.

i joined TF today and had lots of responce and interest, lots very promising, but it all turned cold when i said im still in uk and not going to payyaya till april. some told me to get in contact when i get there others just didnt reply, guess they dont want a pen friend till then.
April is way to far out since right now it’s January. Best to join 2-4 weeks before hand. Some girls will happily talk to you till April but if they find a guy during that time they will stop talking. If you just want to make friends and they want to work on their English then they will keep talking to you.
I have seen a lot of failed relationship with Thai girls, that’s why I’d rather get a hooker for a night when I visit in Thailand than investing emotions, time effort and end up like my friends.

They are owned by different companies and have different user bases, but the features and process is pretty much the same.
Holy shit, I couldn’t thank you enough for this recommendation on ThaiFriendly. I’ve joined it and ThaiCupid, but have found MUCH better luck with the former. Which isn’t to say that TC has been a letdown in any way. But TF has been massively successful for setting up dates, and I don’t even head over for two weeks.
I’ll add that I am also game for ladyboys, and it’s absolutely true that the ladyboys in Thailand are beyond stunning. If you’re at all curious, just open up your filters and take a look and see if you aren’t convinced. If that’s not you’re thing, totally fair, don’t bother — there’s no right or wrong in Thailand.
But regardless of that, I also love women. And when talking to either gender, they’ve been super responsive and open to meeting when I’m there. I’m 39, heading over for my 40th birthday in fact, and have been successful talking to women from 19-35 years old.
If you don’t have them already, I definitely recommend getting both Line and WhatsApp. Most Thai women seem to prefer the former over the latter, but it also has advantages of allowing you to view their timeline and photos that they’ve posted in the past (it’s like a Facebook-lite), so you can get a better idea of how the ladies look. I’ve also noticed that Thai women prefer doing video calls over texting/messaging. This isn’t bad, as you can get a feel for their personality through facial expressions that you might miss through non-fluency in English over text. But it can also provide some difficulty in understanding through any video interference, accent, and language barrier. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’ve been chatting with multiple women day and even received a Line message while writing this paragraph!
I’m not adding much more, if anything, that others and the author haven’t already. But I find that recent comments/reviews can be helpful, and because my own experience so far has been so positive, I figured I’d add in a little. I really hope I’m not being foolish, and that she is not a scammer or an opportunist ready to walk with my money at the first chance! Any thoughts on this, Harvie?
