खाओ सान रोड - वहां न जाने के 5 कारण
I have been living in Bangkok for well over a year now on and off and the first thing I tell people is not to go visit Khao San Road.

I was there only a few days ago and I will admit I had a good time. I met a few friends who were here on holiday for a stag duo and it was fun, well they were fun. The actually street of Khao San Road was a fucking shithole full of kunty young trashpackers annoying me. Although I did have a good time there, it was because of the people I was with, I mean you can have a fun few hours in prison when you’re with the right people, but that doesn’t mean you want to fucking be there.
All tourist books recommend going to Khao San Road, well yeah maybe 10 or 15 years ago, but now there are 101 other places in Bangkok which are much better. Anyway here are my 4 reasons not to visit. Feel free to add your own in the comments
To many farang girls, and not enough Thai chicks
Pasty white farang girls or overweight white chicks, hmm no thanks Jeff! Although Khao San Road does have quite a few थाई लड़कियाँ but not as many as other places such as आरसीए or Sukhumvit. But hey if you’re into white girls, it may just be heaven.
It’s full of lonely planet wankers
I’ll admit that I am a wanker too, but I am wanker with a bit more class. I remember walking on Khao San and within seconds I was getting nudged by tons of trashpackers in the “hustle and bustle” as the guides call it. One kunt even nudged me on purpose, the funny thing was I could of put him down faster than dog with a broken leg, but I decided to let it go (see more class).
I keep walking and I see girls wearing tye and dye pants, guys in Chaing singlets drinking beer as they walk along while trying to grow some stupid facial hair that looks more like hipster bum fluff. I have not even been here two minutes and I am already annoyed at everything.
Getting bombarded by tuk tuk and taxi drivers
I got all the love in the world for a soapy massage or a happy ending massage, but I don’t need to be pestered by annoying tuk tuk drivers who get a huge commission for taking me. I am like:
“Hey brah, I run a borderline sex pat blog, does it like I need to be told where to go to get those services?”

Hey man,you’ve got Khao San nailed.i stay off samsen,15mins away,go there get my smokes and watch the farang zoo.seen the white biches half dressed and loaded and,often FAT.funny how many of them run down Thai chicks in a rude rotten way by calling them no more than hookers.well,western pooying take your fucking house etc,they are the real hookers but,only high price,not high service! My main problem is,the new and rather unusual visa rules.i have spent lots of baht in Thailand over 39yrs,never worked there and now,looks like my bucks are’nt wanted.

Nailed it! Khao San is so full of wankers. I’m here at the moment and when I used my manners (just hello and thankyou mostly) in thai the thai girls were thankful there was at least one guy who wasn’t a prick trying to relax and have a beer.. I’m going back to the slums in the dusit district because the very few farangs there are more experienced travelers and the Thais who all though don’t speak a word of English are way more happier to see you there.. Oh and the taxis automatically put on the meter! And i don’t have to see 10 of the fuckers who are just there to rip of tourist (although a lot of them deserve it)
Totally agree with this, I got up early this morning to avoid the buffet breakfast mayhem with the young backpackers trying to get as much as possible for their money, then a walk down khao San road to see a group of young British flashpackers lying about the ground drunk and stinking with the police standing by keeping an eye on them, one guy sat up unshaven and eyes rolling around his head and they all seemed to think he was looking pretty cool, it’s the first time I’ve come back here in 7 or 8 years and it’s a big difference from the days of meeting interesting people who actually smiled as they walked along the road. Also noted the amount of Thais now going to check out the freak show that these young people have made themselves.

शायद यह अच्छा है, सबसे पहले वाको सान रोड पर जाएँ। उसके बाद नदी के किनारे जाएँ, बोट टैक्सी लें और ताकसिन पुल पर उतर जाएँ।

मैं पहली बार 1992 में केएसआर में रहा और फिर 90 के दशक के मध्य में कुछ और बार। तब से (वृद्ध और धनी होने के कारण) मैं अन्य क्षेत्रों में रहता हूँ। अगर मेरी याददाश्त सही है तो मुझे याद है कि उस समय यह काफी शांत और शांत था। वहाँ कुछ काफी हद तक विक्षिप्त वृद्ध हिप्पी थे लेकिन ज़्यादातर युवा पश्चिमी बैकपैकर थे। सड़क आज की तुलना में बहुत शांत थी और बार और रेस्तरां आम तौर पर कम महत्वपूर्ण थे।
