Light skinned Thai girls are even more of a princess than Western girls I’ve dated. They are not just harder to date, but basically vapid, judgmental and trading on nothing but their looks. Firstly, I would like to share an opinion on “tan skin Thai girls are typically looked down upon while white skin is considered beautiful.” I had tan skin, but I’ve never been looked down upon in my entire life. I was always selected as a leader by my classmates (tan and white skin ones) in most of the classes I had when I was in primary and high school. I can say that no one ever looked down on me at all. Secondly, you also said “tan skin in Thailand is seen as unattractive and poor.” Well, what if some people see tan skin as a beautiful thing, according to hollywood’s influence? Many of my friends who have light skin also try to look tan like Jennifer Lopes, Selena Gonez, Rihanna etc. Thirdly, “tan skin Thai girls usually come from northern Thailand.” Absolutely not, northern Thailand has the coldest weather compared to other regions in Thailand, so people there generally have lighter skin. I think you meant to say “northeastern” which is called Isaan. Moreover, you shouldn’t assume that people who are from Isaan usually have tan skin. Tons of my friends from Isaan have light skin too. Fourthly , “tan skin Thai girl have a horrible accent speaking English” I am tan, and none of the native English speakers I have met have told me my accent is horrible. The accent really depends on the education of each individual and how much they have been practicing. What I said also means that Thai people mostly speak in a similar accent called “Thai accent” regardless of their skin tone. The fifth point I want to talk about is “tan skin girls think that white people are rich” I have never thought that way and I never will. How can someone be rich just because of their skin tone? This is 2016, we don’t judge people based on their skin. The next one, “light skin Thai girls are usually from middle-class families” …..but tan skin Thai girls are usually from middle-class families too. Please, don’t give your readers the wrong idea of Thai women of any skin color. Additionally, “light skin Thai girls speak better English” I am tan and my English is better than a lot of light skin girls in Thailand because I want to be good at English, so I practice. You said tan skin Thai girls are not attractive for Thai men, and they are easy to date? Honestly, everyone has their own preference. They will always be attractive to someone. It is unfair to make generalizations like this.
I am writing you because I feel like people who are reading this should not be misinformed by the incorrect information you have presented. I do not want Thai women of any skin color to be judged based on information written by a male foreigner.

I’m a light skin thai girl and i’m arn’t boring like you siad.
Light skin girl’s tend to be more educat than tanned so we’re mature and seem to be smarter, we might not sweet as tanned that try to kiss your white ass. We know what we want in life have a decent job not just hunting for fanrags to get better life.

But from what i have learn from many foreign friends most thai girls (tanned/light) are quite boring as western and our life style / culture are different and most thais have close mind , poor education , shitty soceity etc.. So if you guys want to have relationship with thai girls you better go half way to understand eachother.

Ps. Everything have 2 side not all tanned / light skin girls are the same

I’m an African-American male planning my first visit to Bangkok this summer. Visiting the oily massage parlors is high on my to-do list. In what area of Bangkok can I find massage parlors with the most tan-skinned Thai girls? Phrom Phong area or closer to Asoke?
