What’s it like for Black and Indians in Thailand, and do Thai girls like us, have been the most emailed questions to me in 2018.
Disclaimer: the rest of this article is going to be intentionally offensive, uncomfortably racist and triggering all in the name of dark humor. Please leave now if you’re offended easily.
Literally, my inbox has been bombarded with questions like this from brothers all over the world asking me:
- if Thai girls dislike you
- if Thai girls like tanned skin
- if Thai girls will like me because I’m an Indian born in Australia or a black guy from the United States
- if Thai girls like Arabs
- if everything they read online about blacks and Indians being the scum of Thailand is true?
If you’re black, Indian or any skin tone that is not white or yellow, I’m going just going to tell you the truth through my eyes.
I’m going to break down everything a black or Indian guy needs to know when interacting with Chicas tailandesas or coming to Thailand, because the rules of the game are different for you.
This might also be a good time to tell you that I am not white, white people aren’t this funny.
Are Thai Girls Racist?
Are all Thai girls racist? No.
Are some Thai girls racist? Of course, Asia is probably the most racist continent in the world.
And by some, I mean a very small percentage, based on my 6 years of living here I would say the percentage is in single digits. I live in Bangkok which is a very modern city, if you choose to live in other areas of Thailand, I can see that number rising as big cities embrace change.

Why is it that Thai chicks don’t like Indians? They are generally rude, smelly, cheap and abusive to women…including black women. My experience is that black guys like you understand the culture and follow customs and are polite and courteous. Drop the racism bag man! it is not the end-all for every complains that brothers have.

I think the latest generation of Indian men are better (the ones that live in the west). They tend to dress better and not be so rude, but your comments are correct in how Asian people view them. It doesn’t help that lots of Indians from India come to Bangkok every year and compound the stereotypes even more.
I’m Indian and sadly, I approve this message. I love Thailand and not just for the sex tourism. Motorcycles is my passion and after the whole Maehonsong loop I go to Pattaya to relax and play with the tigers (literally).
But everytime it saddens my heart to see my Indian brothers behave non-chalantly towards girls(not just Thai) and all service jobs in general. They feel that they got money to throw around and every girl is a working girl.
I’ve made my attempt to even learn Thai … And I’ll continue to always come to Thailand every year(10th visit this time)

This is great and proves the problem Indians have. You say you’re not like them but your comment is more arrogant than typical Indian, and to make things worse you start explaining your body odor, that’s too sleezy. You’re 100% Indian stereotype but cannot see it yourself.
We have an Indian friend of the family in Europe, real nice guy, all his colleagues like him, in most ways he is a hell of a nice guy. But sleezy, oh yes, like his comments to married coworkers on facebook are just insane and completely inappropriate. 2 decades in the west hasn’t changed him at all but no one care, they just ignore it with a hidden smile but unfortunately you cant expect that from Asian girls you just met.
You would be shocked how many wealthy indian businessman come to thailand giving out 500 baht tips and 20K baht tips to their girls not uncommon LOL.

A few observations I made during my stints in Thailand :
The facial hair thing : I usually sport stubble or a lightly trimed beard whilst in the UK. I go full clean shaven when in Thailand for reasons you have mentioned in the blog. Contrary to this I did receive some comments from girls that had seen me both clean shaven and with 3-4 days worth of stubble saying that they preferred the latter!.
Dick Size & Henchness Stereotype : First off I used to get called out a lot by Ladyboys when frequenting the shady areas. More then once I would get a “hey bodybuilder! come here!” when walking around. Not once did a cute thai girl say that to me. Conclusion : Thai girls are scared of hench and think that they will get smashed and killed. Ladyboys love the meat and want to be manhandled by a hench I guess. As for the dick size thing, well during a 4 month stint in BKK I had a few friends come over from the UK and they wanted to visit DR BJ’s. 2 of us went in and we sat down whilst a line up of about a dozen girls were brought in. A lot of them were giggling, the mamasan said they want to know if you are big? to humour them I said I am pum poi but medium, referring to my fat little sausage in a comical manner. I was then told that 3 out of the line up were interested in gobbling my meat. Again more stereotyping because I am a big guy they assumed I would be packing a weapon and afraid of being destroyed. My white friend whom was quite small in stature had his pick out of the entire line up.
Being a brother and crewing up with dem wiggaz. This also works well, I met up with 2 white Norwegian guys whom were on holiday and we had a lot of success on nights out in clubs and generally Thai girls were very receptive. I didn’t used to frequent clubs solo (find it boring) Unless I was spending a week or so in Pattaya and taking the P4P option.
Dressing up : Generally in the day times I struggled with the heat, hence I would always be in my gym gear. Trainers, Shorts and usually a vest, not that I was looking out for it but I expect as I wandered around BKK I was being given a wide berth as in their eyes I looked like a scruffy kunt. I didn’t care, I did not want to sweat to death! In the evenings always made the effort, shoes, chinos and usually a shirt or polo shirt. Found it easier to make eye contact and exchange a smile when walking around. This would not happen during the day when I was in my lifting gear! I always dressed to impress when meeting dates from thai friendly although during april it was quite uncomfortable wearing trousers!
A final observation, as my grandfather is Portuguese I have the ability to literally go from a light shade of brown to full on dark mediterranean tanned after just 1 day of sunshine! my first visit to Thailand was in 2014 and was literally 2 weeks partying in Pattaya, I barely saw sunshine and hence did not Tan. The 2nd time when I spent 4 months in BKK and did some travelling I did tan and go really dark. I am not sure if it’s all in my head but I got the feeling that I was getting a lot less attention once I had developed a dark tan, even from the P4P girls.
Cultural differences can be crazy, tanning injections are super popular here in the UK at the moment. I know so many kunts using them, not just women but plenty of guys. then over there in Thailand you have people going to clinics for skin whitening!

Personally I use all of the tips myself but a few (I leave tightly trimed beard, but dress sharp no shorts lol.)

This was yet a another great post! and I can say what you are saying is true too about here in Central Asia. I am black. But I dress like those Korean metrosexual dudes in that picture you have above, and I get lots of positive feed backs. I would like to say that Asians are far less racists than what blacks and colored people think! I get alot of attention from girls here and many of them would date me if I was intrested in them. I’m a brown guy too. I have the accent which is close to American accent. actually that helped me a little to get some Thai girls.

Which places in Bangkok do you recommend for cheap dates? I went to some bars and a glass of beer was 200 baht. Some food in some regular restaurant was about 400 baht.
These price may cheap for you but I look for cheaper one for my next trip.

Most Thai women can only dream of have a white farang husband. also most of them are not interested in a young faring their own age, they want a man at least 15 years old. their thinking is he will be happy with a round wife and not wander, and provide a good life for her and the children. she will also be a dream come true of a wife for her husband, meeting all of his needs before he know he has the need. after having a Thai wife. I would not let my dog have a relationship with a western woman.
