How To Make Money in Thailand eBook (Yes I Wrote One)
Hey guys,
I was getting hundreds of questions over the years on how I make my money living in Thailand that I thought I would write an eBook on it. It seems that’s what everyone’s does these days anyway. But yes, if you want to know how I make over $2,000+ each month making money online this book is for you.
The book doesn’t talk about blogging, affalite marketing or anything like that, I actually work for people and get paid. It’s actually very simple and you can do it too.
Click here to find the page to my book or the image below.
Hope you enjoy it, if you feel you got no value out of it you get a 7 day no questions asked refund.
Thanks!

“I actually work for people and get paid”
no way
Hehe, just wanted to point out this book is not one of them “make money while you are sleeping eBooks”.
I skimmed it. Really not bad. I was actually looking forward to one of those hilarious make money in Thailand ebook experiences.
Thanks, glad you got value.
Hi
It is possible that you can add PaySafeCard as a payment method?
Regards
Only PayPal I accept for now sorry.

Haha the content sells itself, no need to go fancy.
just pulling your leg bro would be interested to check it out actually.
but you could really provide some more info what its actually about… i guess freelancing? feels a bit like buying the cat in the bag
Yes freelancing, I should edit the page and mention it.
I would like to buy it but I’m not sure. What do you teach in this book? What do I become at the end? A Ghostwriter? A Webdesigner? WordPress? What is it? I don’t want to buy this book without knowing it before. This makes no sense albeit I’m able to get my money back.
Hey Wannabe Hipster, you will become whatever you want to become from your list.
One big dilemma is the wannabe teachers who arrive in Thailand desperate to stay long term but haven’t got enough funds to last more than about 6 weeks. Take out the money they use for booze and whores (or their ‘teerak’ who they are already financing) and you find these desperados will take anything going, crappy paid teaching jobs or God forbid, boiler rooms.
They don’t posess the business acumen, patience or ability to do a bit of research beforehand and many also have no decent qualifications either hence pigeon holing themselves in crap jobs working for morons
Yeah it seems that way Pat. I actually came here looking for a teaching job until I found something else. Never looked back since and can’t see why anyone would want to teach for 30k.
Hi harvie, nice book, reading it at the moment…
How do you avoid registering your income to the english authorities? At elance you at least have to leave personal information when working with EU clients. Have you found a way around that?
Hi Jess, for England if you live outside the UK for more than 6 months you are not longer deemed a tax-resident meaning I do not have to pay taxes. I don’t know for other countries, what country is your Elane account set to?
I have never have to share any tax information on Elance and I have worked with people within the EU only this year.
Harvie, surely not every or many of those bloggers make an income off it right?
There is a large percentage of these blogs that are complete sh*t and the authors of these are probably just as bigger tossers as are the idiots who take the time to ‘like’ it on facebook, thus inflating the bloggers ego to the extent that they start to believe their own hype.
I love reading newbie threads on *****.com where they ask stuff like ”I have a degree in brain surgery but am thinking of coming to teach english in Thailand, will I be able to live on 30,000 Baht a month?”
No prizes for guessing what that really translates into
I think very few blogs makes money, you can usually tell from how much traffic they get. I would say less than 5% make over $500 a month
Just read your book. It’s a nice little guide to building an online income that doesn’t involve blogging. It’s not really an avenue I’ve considered before, but will definitely look into.
Im tempted…but is this really for everyone? What skill set do i need to be able to make money online?
Hey Max, it’s show that you can make money with any skill set and if you have not got one how to build one and get paid in the process.
Hi Harvie, I have sent you an email with more info.
Okay will read it.
hey Harvie, sorry about all the drama! Loved the book, thanks for sharing and your absolutely right! The only excuse for not being/doing what you want to is starring you back in the mirror! Nice blueprint on the “how” you can do what you do…
cheers!!!!
ron;)
Thanks for the support, hope you take action on everything the book said!
Loved the book, it has inspired me to start freelancing with the eventual goal of getting enough frequent work that I could too move to the land of smiles haha
nice one Nico!
Been freelance writing on oDesk (Now Upwork) for a month now and made a little under $200.
I know it’s not much but I’ve been working for dirt cheap and I have a full time job so can’t take too many writing jobs on.
Anyone who is pondering buying Harvie’s eBook but isn’t sure if it’s a waste of money I can attest that without his book I never would have even considered or known how to be a freelance writer and although I’ve only made $200 it more than covers the 10 bucks or whatever Harvie’s book cost.
Hey Harvie, I’m not trying to be a troll or dick, but do you have any proof of actually making $2000 a month by working as a freelancer?
Do you have months where the money dries up and you make nothing?
Hey Tim. I’ve shown a proof of earnings for the actual week I wrote my Book. After my first two months of freelancing I’ve never had any dry months. The longer you freelance the more clients you end up having who regularly throw you work, so you work never really dries up.
I hardly have to look for jobs I have that many clients who email me weekly with needs anymore.
Hey Harive, a co-worker and I have been reading your blog for a while now. Lots of great info. I’m moving to Thailand this July ( my friend isn’t brave enough to take the leap too haha ). I bought your book out of curiosity since it was pretty cheap ,and it proved a lot of my assumptions about freelancing. I finished reading it in about 20 minutes. Anyone who is clueless about freelancing should spend the 8 bucks for Harvies book and get nice brain dump about how to get started.
Harvie if you’re in BKK this July I’d be interested in meeting up.
Hey Drew, thanks for the comments and hope you have an epic time when you get here. As for the meet, email me closer to the date.
Thanks.
Hi Harvie,
I bought your book and I’ve already read it. I have a question regarding making a proposal. I understood that I have to ask for the minimum rates substitutional for (good) reviews. So, the policies from e*****.com state that it is not allowed to praise low rates etc. in the proposal. My question is how should I let know the client that I want to charge him really low rates because I’m new on this platform?
I made my first proposal and wrote that I’m new, that I will charge him really low rates, etc. But now I’m afraid that the stuff will terminate my account.
By the way, do you this TimeT****** Tool from them or do you make a rule of thumb estimate?
Thanks for replying,
Kind regards!
Hey mate,
I would say that you are offering low rates because you are new to Elance and looking to build trust and a loyal client base. This should be fine by the rules.
I use the time tools on the site yes, but some clients you can add the hours yourself (manual time)
I am finding it too difficult to compete on elance right now, too many cheaper and more qualified writers……Any ideas ?
Hey Kim, I outlined what you should do in my Ebook against these types of freelancers. Also, what is your USP? Many of these low level writers are very bad, what are you doing in your applications to differentiate yourself?
Sawadee khrab Harvie
I’ve never bought an e-book before, but I did buy, normally I’m really cynical about these type of these “how I made money”, but actually the tips you have shared in this e-book are working so far. I’m getting between $13 to $15 per 500 word rewrite article, this is my 2nd week of freelancing. My problem I’m so bloody slow doing the rewriting, it’s a bit harder than writing my blog pieces about Thailand!
I know about $400 or £250 per week is enough for me in BKK, more is always better, I’m working on that 555.
Hopefully I’ll be back in BKK before the end of the year and doing some travelling around. I was living in On Nut between April and August this year, but now in the UK:-(
Dear King of the Internet, dear King of Thailand, dear my lovely son,
I would like to ask you a question regarding your wonderfull, beautiful, self-written e-book.
Now in November 2015 I noticed that there is no odesk.com or freelancer.com site anymore left on the Internet. My question to you, my King, is, did you change anything in you e-book the last couple weeks/month? Because I bought it a long time ago and I would be happy to receive an updated copy of it.
I’ll be waiting for you response every day and every night. If there is something in my life which could satisfie me up to 100% – it would be an answer from you, my lovely King.
Respectfully,
a true follower from heart.
Odesk is now Upwork. It is still in business but the name has changed. Freelancer is still alive too.
Hey Harvie 🙂
What kind of Visa do you have, that let you stay all that time in Thailand?
Thanks
The only visa that lets you stay here all the time is a Thai Elite Visa.
