Can you credibly source your assertion that “Most of the girls on Beach Road do not follow the guidelines for safer sex”? I have not been with most of the girls on beach road, but those I have do follow the guidelines. Also, every hotel (including short time) I have visited either takes a copy of the girl’s ID or holds on to the ID card itself until we return the key. Every single one has had a Thai national identification card (not something an illegal immigrant would be likely to have), the pictures have closely matched their faces, and (considering the respectable rate at which the police apprehend common thieves based on descriptions of their physical appearance) I think girls trying to drug or steal from customers in hotel rooms is a rare occurrence.
Hi Steven, safe in the sense they aren’t required to test themselves every 3 months unlike girls who work in most reputable bars. If a girl on Beach Road has some sort of STD she may still work. Girls in bars are trained to always use a condom, girls on Beach Road are not. I am not saying they are all like this, but with a bar there’s less chance of you catching something.

I have visited Pattaya and Beach road. A number of times this year and I have tasted the wears of a number of ladies.As per the other comment all ladies have practised safe sex and insisted that a condom was used for full sex. Again they have all had ID cards that have been left at the hotel reception and only collected when I have said that everything was ok. I have never seen any trouble on beach road in Pattaya and there is a large police presents every evening. I always had great experience on beach road and most of the girl are less commercial than in walking street . I always have a 5 minute conversation with a girl and by then you already discovered is the are players or just simple good girls that came to Pattaya to make some money and these are the girls that you want.

I actually find it safer to walk on the beach side of the road especially at night. In my opinion you are more likley to be struck by a motorcycle or car on the shop side than being mugged on the beach side, I’ve walked at all times of night and day and always feel safe. Besides there a so many girls standing there watching everything, no one is gonna try mug you. I was at first taken aback a bit by guys pushing drugs, but “no thanks” always works and they leave you alone.

i think it is worth a consideration that many of the beach road girls worked before in a bar but got laid off ther for some reason. That ‘some reason’ makes that it is more likely that you get in trouble than with girls under a mamasan, that said i had also very nice experiences with street girls but also some times a lot of trouble. (you can buy off with a lot of money so in the end you pay aprox. twice as much for a street girls as for a bar girl.)

I was there 5 years ago, i wanted 3 lesbians for fun, they lied and so they did not give head in unity. I was so stupid. The looked feminine.
